The town of Bridgeport is getting ready to welcome the 2020 edition of the “Steelpointe Yacht & Charter Show”, a prestigious event focused on yachting that showcases not only luxury yachts but also rare cars and samples of private jets and helicopters.
The exhibition will take place in Bridgeport Harbor Marina, an inlet on the north side of Long Island Sound, inside a well-protected harbor area strategically located between Boston and New York. The exhibition displays lots of novelties, reflecting a constantly growing market as proved by the impact of the yachting industry on the Connecticut economy in 2018: 4.1 billion dollars generated, 20,673 people working in 646 companies across the state, and more than 90,000 boats registered.
